Why can't we write a driver for Palm OS 5?

Palm OS5 requires a hardware change as it no longer accepts raw IR Data. Our current driver works with Palm OS3.x - 4.x as these versions accept raw IR Data. The change is in the Palm OS5 program kernal, where the data signal must be wrapped data. This is extra IR Data signal packing/bits that must be sent every time a key is pressed. Microsoft CE PPC2002/2003 accepts raw IR Data and we have continued to develop new drivers for all new HP, Toshiba, etc. models.

How can I take advantage of this upgrade?

Purchase the upgrade special and send your working keyboard and accessories to us. When we receive your keyboard and review its contents to meet the above terms, we will send you your new keyboard. This is a limited time offer and Pocketop reserves the right to cancel this offer without notice at any time.
