PocketopTM expands its senior management team with two appointments
Growth precipitates addition of Phil Leong as Chief Financial Officer and Vince Holloway as Senior Vice President

PocketopTM Computer Corporation, an innovative design company creating input solutions for the mobile handheld device market, today announced two new appointments. Phil Leong is joining the company as its first CFO, and will be focused on developing and implementing Pocketop's financial strategy as the company moves into a new stage of growth. Vince Holloway joins Pocketop as Senior Vice President in charge of general business development, international strategic alliances, and operational strategies. Both will report directly to Bill Wrixon, CEO, and will be based in the corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.
In making the announcement, Wrixon said, "Naming a strong leader like Phil as our CFO represents a major step forward in Pocketop's growth and future development. Along with Vince's strategic operational expertise, both seasoned executives will play a vital role in building solid infrastructures to leverage our innovative technologies and bring to consumers the tools they need to take full advantage of mobile communications."
Phil Leong brings to Pocketop over thirteen years of high tech finance and business experience at Group Telecom and Telus. Previously, Phil was a Director of Sales at Group Telecom and Director of Business Operations for the company's Pacific Region. He has had extensive finance experience primarily in strategic planning, business modeling, performance analyses, budgeting and forecasting.
As a member of the Group Telecom regional senior management team, he was responsible for helping develop and execute the regional strategic vision and increased yearly billable revenues by $2.4 million through his initiatives. Phil is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
Vince Holloway brings over 30 years experience to Pocketop. Most recently, Vince was Vice President of Operations at Group Telecom, where he was responsible for Network Operations. He oversaw the construction, monitoring and maintenance of Group Telecom's British Columbia fibre optic network and the provisioning of customer voice and data services. He had operational responsibility for a Capital and Operations budget of $32 million and over 90 operations staff.
Prior to Group Telecom, Vince was President of MPR Extensys and Vice President of MPR Teltech, both subsidiaries of Telus, where he was responsible for developing a wide range of customer relationship management (CRM), network management and telecom switching products - deploying those products in telecommunication operating companies in Canada, US, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. Vince attended the Advanced Executive Program at York University and has a Diploma in Electronic Technology.
