New PDA Keyboards
On March 18, Pocketop Computer announced its entrance into the PDA input solutions market. The Canadian company introduced a wireless keyboard that uses an infrared port to communicate with a PDA. The folding keyboard is compatible with both the Palm and PocketPC OS, and requires a single AAA battery which reportedly lasts six months under normal use. Pocketop Keyboard's software-oriented design allows for connectivity with future generations of devices, thereby significantly reducing hardware upgrades. Micro Innovations will market the product, with a list price of $119.00.
